The focus is on the 1963 Corvette Stingray, but images and video are shown of models dating back to 1953. Great details are given about the manufacturing process including details on the hand pressing of the fiberglass shell. Bolt by bolt, step by step this documentary goes over exactly how the 1963 Corvette was built.

Zora Arkus Duntov, staff engineer and legendary racer watches as two 1963 Corvettes are put to the test track. With the sound of modern jets you can listen and watch as the earliest versions of today’s true American car are put to the test.
